East Metro Family Counseling
East Metro Family Counseling (EMFC) specializes in evaluating and treating social, emotional, and behavioral functioning across a wide range of mental health issues with an expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). EMFC founder, Mitch Leppicello, is a licensed Mental Health Professional and Clinical Social Worker. In addition to his family counseling, Mitch provides ASD training for mental health professionals and online courses for parents and caregivers of youth with ASD.
Mitch Leppicello, LICSW
Mitch Leppicello is a Certified Autism Specialist and holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University in New York. He has 30+ years of experience providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of treatment-based settings. He is a professional member of the MN Society for Clinical Social Work and the Clinical Social Work Association.
Mitch has served on the advisory boards of local schools and community organizations supporting positive mental health practices for children and families. He has advanced clinical certifications in both Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Thought Field Therapy (TFT).
